Myrtle

Found starving and wandering in a Walmart parking lot, Myrtle was taken to a rural animal shelter. We saw her posted on Facebook and knew that we had to help her. Initially, she was estimated to be 14 years old and in poor health. But after proper vetting and some TLC, we believe that she is MUCH younger. She is full of life and LOVES to romp and play. We lovingly call her Myrtle the Menace because she is so busy and enjoys harassing her feline roommates. She craves attention and is ready to entertain anyone who will watch! She does get overstimulated at times and will nip at you so a home with no small children is best for her. She is truly supermodel gorgeous and is sure to liven up any household!

Fritz

In December of 2020, Fritz appeared on a fellow rescuer’s doorstep emaciated and in extreme gastrointestinal distress. She took him into her awesome rescue, Hope for All Pets, and got him immediate vet care. Because his testing showed “emerging small cell lymphoma” he was considered a hospice case. She reached out on Facebook for a hospice foster, and we were happy to take him on. Well, long story short, after some rounds of meds, special food, and having all of his teeth pulled, he is no longer hospice!! This furry kid is hearty, enjoys running around and playing, and adores snuggling on laps. His original vet had also said that he was “really, really old”, but we are estimating that he’s around 7/8 years old. He has a little sensitivity on his lower back where a bb pellet remains, so he prefers not to be patted too much back there. But otherwise, he loves chin scratches and curling up with you in bed.

Harriet

Dear old Harriet has been with us since Fall 2020. She was found as a stray in Louisville in terrible condition. Our wonderful friend who runs Itty Bitty Kitten Rescue, agreed to take her in and began to sort out her health issues. Harriet has extreme skin allergies which affect her whole body. We have had various tests done, taken her to a dermatologist multiple times, and continue to manage her itchy skin with a special diet and steroids. She is a work in progress and has improved immensely. Harriet is quite a character, and we love her to pieces! She’s fine with other cats, but no doubt, she would love to be the queen of a home as the only cat if the right person came along.

Harriet is a very happy, fluffy girl today!
